World Geography Printable: Me on the Map Booklet | from Blue Bells and Cockle ShellsHi everyone! Can you believe that the 2016-17 has officially started?

One thing we’ll be starting up this year, is we’ll be using the Little Passports world edition (affiliate link) as a spine for geography. In homeschooling, a spine refers to the book (kit in our case) that is used as the backbone for your curriculum for that topic. So we will be using the kits each month as jumping off points to explore geography.

Before we started the program, I did a general world geography/map reading unit with Sola. I created some printables for the unit and wanted to share them with you all. Below is the first world geography printable I made, I will share the other printables I made later this week.
The first thing we did for our unit, was read the book, Me on the Map. (affiliate link) I created a little accompanying booklet for her to fill out and put in her geography notebook. There are three pages for the booklet and I made different variations of the first page for each continent. To assemble the booklet, cut out the “pages” along the black lines. Have your child fill out the pages (I used a handwriting font to fill out some of the answers). Then staple the pages together in order, with the longest page on the bottom. :
