I was recently sent a copy of a lovely Waldorf-inspired book, entitled Seasons of Joy and I just had to share it with all of you.
Seasons of Joy, written by Claudia Marie Lenart, tells the story of the changing seasons via gorgeous wool paintings of children playing outdoors and exploring the unique gifts that each season brings. The story is told in lyrical prose, perfect for reading out loud to young children.
I love that Seasons of Joy shows children enjoying unstructured outdoor, something that used to be a staple of childhood, but in today’s has become more of the exception, than the norm.
Seasons of Joy would make a wonderful addition to any seasonal or nature table. So be sure to pick up a copy from Amazon or your local bookstore.
