Peanut Butter Yogurt Dip – A Kid-friendly Snacking Dip
Last week, I shared that I like to create snack platters for Sola when we work on big projects to keep her fueled without me having to interrupt things to fix her food. One thing that I have found that helps to encourage Sola to eat a greater variety of nutritious foods is to offer her interesting dips. In particular, I like to offer dips with protein in them, as she tends to eat a lot of carbs, which is fine, other than she tends to get very grouchy after she has used up all the quick carb energy. Recently, I experimented with making a peanut butter yogurt dip and found a recipe that was really tasty. The other good thing about this dip is that it is easy enough to make that Sola can make it all by herself (with my supervision, of course).
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (plain works, but vanilla was more popular here)
- 3 tbsp. honey
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
- Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix until smooth and creamy.
