Mexican Recipes, Projects, and Crafts for Kids | from Blue Bells and Cockle ShellsAs I mentioned last month, I am trying to change things up a bit with my posts about our geography unit plans that I plan around our monthly Little Passports subscription kits. As we have progressed through the kits, we have been getting into more and more detail about each country. Consequently, my posts about each country have been getting longer and longer. I finally decided that they are just too long, so I am going to start breaking them up into multiple posts. This post is about all of the crafts, recipes, printables, and projects that we used for our homeschooling unit about Mexico. We never do all of them, as I like to allow Sola to pick and choose. I will share our mapping assignment for Australia in the next post. Also, be sure to check out my post with the list of picture books about Mexico that we used.

Turning Things Over to You

I hope this list can help you if you decide to do a unit on Mexico, even if you don’t subscribe to Little Passports. We like the Little Passports kits because Sola really enjoys receiving the little souvenirs, postcards, and passport stamps from each country. She also enjoys their online games.
