June Window Transparency | From Blue Bells and Cockle ShellsThis month, I tried to use more kite paper and less silhouette in my June window transparency. Also, with Father’s Day being the only holiday of the month, I decided to use a fairy theme instead of a holiday theme, because Sola is obsessed with fairies. I did double layers of each of the kite paper pieces and then slid the second piece slightly off to the right of the the first piece to create the illusion of depth in the transparency. I used the same paper cutting technique that I blogged about in January. If you would like to use this transparency template, click on the image below:
June Window Transparency | From Blue Bells and Cockle ShellsAnd as the seasons come and go, here’s something you might like to know. There are fairies everywhere: under bushes, in the air, playing games just like you play, singing through their busy day. So listen, touch, and look around — in the air and on the ground. And if you watch all nature’s things, you might just see a fairy’s wing.

What have you done to bring the joy of the season into your homeschooling space? Do your children still believe in fairies?
